John Phillips Souza - The march king - "I Love A Parade"!! GBG Tom (Big Jake) got our annual spot in the San Jose Veterans Day Parade and of course invited PGR to join us!
Good thing! Doug (Sgtmaj) pulled in with over 20 riders! My first parade in '06 we had 4 riders, today we had 35! Thank you ALL for coming!
We had special guests also! Santa Clara Mayor Pat Mahan and her husband (Mr Mayor - GBG) rode with us! I forgot his name, age related, sigh.....
Jake and his son pulled in with his trailer and 11 flags! A wall of flags! Real nice! He led the group followed by Pat and hubby, and the rest.. we started at 3 abreast and then moved to 6 abreast to shorten up our LONG line!!! GBG

A Marine came up and gave our Gold Star Mom Diane a hug, of course many of us got in line!!! GBG I see her at many of our functions.. She is a strong supporter of our troops.. Sorry for the blurred pic, but it's all I have...
Jake and Chuck, fellow ALR District 13 members, worked together to get a back patch for Mayor Pat Mahan! Real nice touch! Top rocker is Santa Clara and bottom is Mayor.
